About the moderator: Gigi Kuhn

Gigi Kuhn is a French native language and culture educator with 24 years of teaching experience in the US. Since 2002, she has taught the French language and Francophone culture at multiple Alliance Française chapters across the country, as well as in international schools and local universities. 

Gigi has collaborated with AT Frenchies Club since 2024, working with co-founders Alex Durand and Tom Carles, contributing to language education, cultural programming, masterclasses, workshops, and community events. A dedicated advocate for French education, she combines extensive classroom experience with a strong interest in the language acquisition and the rich diversity of the Francophone world. Her teaching expertise has been recognized with regional and national awards from the American Association of Teachers of French (AATF 2015, 2024). 

As moderator of this special conversation, Gigi is delighted to join Alex and Tom for the launch of Pardon Our French, exploring the beautiful art of living, cultural differences and the many fascinating and surprising ways France and the United States see the world differently!
