Small Alliance Française chapters get ready for summer (particularly Bastille Day) !

Small chapters celebrate summer’s arrival with many appropriate activities, perhaps the most popular involving Bastille Day celebrations.  Here are a few examples:

•          AF Central Iowa is planning a pétanque tournament for Bastille Day with food and dancing.
•          AF North Shore (Illinois) is also planning a pétanque activity along with French games, snacks and drinks.
•          AF Detroit (Michigan) will celebrate at the Bayview Yacht Club on Lake St. Clair and enjoy live French music, cocktails and a dinner buffet. AF Newport (Rhode Island) will also enjoy a waterfront ambiance at the Conanicut Yacht Club for a luncheon overlooking Narragansett Bay.
•          AF Columbus (Ohio) will celebrate on the patio of the Refectory Bistro with wine and appetizers prepared by a local chef. 
•          AF New Haven (CT) will enjoy a pique-nique en blanc for Bastille Day.
