Small AF chapters propose events autour de la cuisine française !

Cooler autumn weather apparently turns Francophile minds to French cuisine! Chapters in all regions are planning such events as an Apéro Dinatoire, a Cercle des Repas, a French Cooking Class, discussion of a Mediterranean diet as well as Couscous and a Concert.

More specifically, these chapters have scheduled the following events:

• AF Grand Rapids (Michigan) conversation group members plan to get together regularly au Cercle des repas français with each meal prepared as a team.
• AF Knoxville (Tennessee) has organized a Couscous and Concert event. The catered menu offered vegetables, couscous and chicken or beef kofta followed by a concert by local singer Ayca Layman.
• AF Cleveland (Ohio) will offer a cooking class “Apprenons à faire la cuisine française” to learn how to prepare the perfect cassoulet.
• AF Hawaii has scheduled a Fall Immersion Day with a French guest speaker, Jean-Michel Pradal, who will discuss “La Méditerranée À Table: naissance d’un art de vivre ».
• AF Princeton (New Jersey) plans to celebrate its 20^th anniversary with a French Apéro Dinatoire.

French cooking and wine events are always a hit!
