The Federation of AF USA is planning to publish a cookbook of favorite French and Francophone recipes from around the Alliance Française network in the US.

Please submit your recipes for consideration by SEPTEMBER 15, 2025. Our goal is to publish the cookbook for the 2025 holiday season. If you are having problems submitting the form below, please send your recipe to federation@afusa.org

Frequently Asked Questions about Submitting Recipes

  • Do I need to submit a personal photo with my recipe? No, a personal photo is not required. You may use a photo from the internet if needed.
  • Should I credit the source of my recipe? Yes, please credit the original source if your recipe comes from a cookbook, the internet, or another chef. The recipe does not have to be original, and family recipes from newspapers or magazines are also welcome.
  • Can I submit a recipe from a famous chef? Absolutely! Just mention the source, for example: “My favorite Julia Child Madeleines.”
  • Is there a required difficulty level for recipes? No, there is no requirement regarding difficulty. However, keeping the recipe to one page is preferred.
  • Is there a limit to how many recipes I can submit? No limit — submit as many recipes as you’d like!
  • Do recipes need to be original? Originality is not required. Recipes inspired by other francophone cultures are encouraged and welcomed.
