New Partnership Expands Resources for TAPIF Alumni

The Federation of AF USA and the TAPIF Alumni Association (TAA) have officially launched a new partnership aimed at strengthening ties between TAPIF alumni and the Alliance Française network across the U.S. This collaboration opens exciting new benefits for TAA members, including free access to the Federation's national cultural programs and Wednesday conversation group, strategic planning support, and the potential to co-host networking and informational events at local Alliance Française chapters. In turn, TAA will help promote the AF network as a key French language and cultural resource among young professionals and university communities. With both organizations focused on fostering French language and culture, this partnership offers valuable cross-promotional opportunities and promises to better connect alumni with ongoing French-speaking communities and resources nationwide.

AF chapters might remember, too, that all AFs are noted as approved assessors of TAPIF candidates' language level — language certification of applicants is a requirement for applicants to that program. AFs can submit official letters of evaluation to attest to the candidates' level, as described on the French government's main TAPIF page: Teaching Assistant Program in France - FAQ.  Note that the pricing for those assessments can be set by the individual AFs, and can be independent and separate from official certifications such as DELF/TEF etc. Remember, too, that TAPIF candidates are prospective students for taking classes at the AF, whether before or after their stay in France.
