AF Chapters Discuss the Federation's OBOF Selection

This key question, raised by Jacaranda, the 2026 Federation OBOF choice, is being addressed by the book groups of several small chapters. The prestigious Prix Renaudot top prize winner in 2024, Jacaranda addresses the difficult history of Rwanda seen through the eyes of French Rwandan teenage émigré. Earlier OBOF selections are also being discussed.
- AF Hartford’s club de lecture sets aside the March meeting each year to discuss the OBOF selection, in this case Jacaranda.
- AF DuPage’s club de lecture will discuss Jacaranda on June 10th emphasizing the availability of the reading guide to facilitate their conversation.
- AF Doylestown (PA) & Bucks County’s special events calendar includes a June 10th discussion of the 2025 selection, Chaleur Humaine by Serge Joncour.
- AF Reno’s club de lecture will discuss the 2019 OBOF selection, La délicatesse by David Foenkinos, in their April 19th session.
