Registration
Policy
All Students are required to be members of the Alliance Francaise. Tuition
(class) costs do not include the $40 membership fee or books.
In the event that two courses are chosen by the same student during the
same session, a 40% discount will apply to the lesser priced course.
Classes require a minimum of 3 students.
All classes, except where otherwise indicated, are for adults only (age
18 and up).
In the case of late registration, the amount payable for the tuition (class)
costs will be prorated to reflect the number of classes remaining in the
session.
Make-ups for missed classes are permitted only if the class instructor
agrees.
Payment
Membership fee and books: must be paid in full before the 1st class by
check or cash.
Tuition costs of classes: may be paid in full before the 1st class
by check or cash, or by installment. If installment option is chosen,
full payment
will be divided into 3 equal installments, payable before the 1st, 5th,
and 9th classes respectively; and a surcharge of $20 will be added to
each installment amount.
Bounced checks will result in an additional fee of $25.
Withdrawal Policy
All cancellations must be received in writing (e-mail notification permitted)
and will be considered effective as of the date received. Please state
the course code and the reason for the cancellation. Refunds will be processed
within 3 weeks by check according to the following policy:
Students will be refunded the cost of the course minus the prorated cost
of the classes held prior to the cancellation, and minus the membership
fee.
Books are not refundable once used.
