Funding
The work of the Federation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is funded by the annual dues of the member chapters and supplemented by gifts from annual sponsors, donations from Board members and private contributions. Board Members receive no remuneration for their participation and commitment.
The French Government, via the Délégation générale de l'Alliance Française aux Etats-Unis, makes an annual contribution to help fund School Development Grants.
If as an individual you would like to make a donation to encourage French-American cross-cultural cooperation, if you want to put the Federation in your will, or if your business has a matching program, contact the Federation about becoming a patron.
If your company would like to sponsor Federation activities by placing ads in the Federation Forum, the fancy Magazine, promoting the web site, or contributing to the Annual Meeting, contact the Federation Office.
